Sofia started her career in the franchise industry in 1997. Her expertise includes marketing and promotion, branding, image enhancement, business development, franchisee evaluation & selection, training and project management.
After 15 years in the corporate franchise scene, Sofia joined a trade NGO as its Chief Executive Officer. Apart from being the spoke-person and managing the overall operation of the secretariat office, her responsibilities included dealing with corporate members, government liaison and overseeing the execution of projects and programmes which contributed to the nation’s franchise industry.
Sofia has written many articles regarding franchising for various publications. With her hands-on experience in the franchising industry, Sofia wrote her first book, published by MPH in August 2014. The book entitled “Sofia Leong Abdullah’s Guide to Franchising in Malaysia”, was officially launched by YB Dato Seri Hasan Bin Malek, the former Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism on 15th October 2014.
Sofia was also featured in British Publishing House Encyclopedia of Successful People in Malaysia V.3 – 2021.
Sofia has been invited to speak and conduct training at many occasions locally and within the region. She has spoken on topics related to franchise business and entrepreneurship in front of entrepreneurs at international business conferences held in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore; and to students at UniRazak, UIA, UITM, IMU and University Malaysia Kelantan. Currently, Sofia is lecturing part-time at International Medical University, Malaysia (IMU) on the subject of Entrepreneurship.
Sofia is also a HRDC certified Trainer and certified 10X Strategy Coach.
Hah Chee Khean

and coach specializing in advanced leadership skills and tools that enable companies to
run efficiently and grow progressively. His primary focus is to help companies to develop
high-performance leaders and teams by empowering individuals with the right skill-sets and tools that would enable them to create extraordinary results at the workplace. Hah believes that to achieve any success, we must embrace leadership. His mission is to Empower Leaders to Empower Others.
Before his training and development career, Hah was the Operations Manager of an international elevator manufacturing company. Hah has successfully built and grew the operation in Malaysia from a start-up to RM6 million in annual revenues within 4 years.
Hah is an engineer with 16 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry. During his career, he has constantly helped companies in saving millions of Ringgits through solution-focused problem-solving methodologies and productivity measures. His principle is to Keep It Simple and Straightforward. Hah has experience in diverse areas i.e., Production, Engineering, Quality Control, Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, Product R&D, Human Resource, and Sales & Marketing. During this period, Hah has played a double role as Export Sales Manager for 4 years, where he secured million Ringgits of sales monthly.
With a passion for personal growth, Hah constantly learns from many international gurus and leaders such as Tony Robbins, Blair Singer, T. Harv Eker, Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Zig Ziglar, Stephen R. Covey, Richard Branson, Peter Szabo, Marshall Goldsmith, and Marcus Buckingham amongst others.

Hew Hui Shan
Accountant (CPA, CFP), Business Coach & Trainer

Hui Shan is a Chartered Accountant. She worked with public listed companies in Singapore and Malaysia before setting up her management and training company, to help provide better structure and systems for the fluid and flexible SME environment, to enable SMEs to have solid foundation for growth.
Her area of specialization is Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, Process Improvement and Team building. She believes the entrepreneurial spirit of being focused to achieve, never give up and continuous learning can change the life of many ordinary families.
Financial literacy is a subject not taught in our formal education but has a huge impact in our daily lives. Financial literacy knowledge gained at an early age can help overcome many financial challenges at later stages in life.Hui Shan is always happy and grateful when there is opportunity to train, coach, talk or collaborate in the above areas. Her philosophy in life is “Just strive to improve 1% everyday” – leading to 365% increase in a year.
